Instructions for Students
Signing in
You are first to sign in using your test identity. Your test identity consists of your birth date and your full initials in this format: if you are Peter Clive Williams and you were born on 9 April 1995 your test identity is 19950409pcw, all in lower case. In the unlikely case that there are two people with the same test identity in your school your teacher would have told you what your test identity is. It will be the same as above followed by two digits, e.g. in the example above the second person would be 19950409pcw00. That makes provision for 101 people in a school having the same birth dates and initials. Even if hell freezes over, that won't happen.
After signing in
After signing in you will be presented with a page with, in by far the majority of cases, only one test title displayed. In the unlikely case that may be another class also due to write this test who are busy writing another test, both test titles will be displayed. Click only on the title of the test you are to write when the teacher tells you to do so. The test you are to write will load.
Writing the test
The questions and possible answers to each question will be displayed. Every answer has a radio button next to it. You can only select one answer per question. Selecting a different answer will automatically deselect the answer your selected before. Read all questions carefully and select the most likely answer. In case the teacher wanted more than one, or none of the possibilities to be right, there would be possibilities to select like A, B and C and/or None of the above.
Submitting the test for marking
After you have finished writing the test, click the submit button at the bottom. You will be asked if you are sure you want to submit this test now. Take this seriously, as submission is final. Reread the questions and your responses if there is time. Once submitted your test will be graded and your marks displayed. That happens instantly depending on network speed and the hardware resources on the server running this application. Within seconds you will have a response. Once submitted you cannot write this test again. You have been warned.
